Last night, we frequented the Indian coffee shop nearby our place for the usual weekly prata. Surprisingly, there are fewer crowds. Looks like the recent food poisoning on Indian rojak at Geylang Serai market leaves a severe impact to other patrons. People are so cynical that even other unrelated eateries are affected. C’mon people! Unfortunate cases like these happen even to home-cooked meals. Don’t boycott other hawkers for the negligence of one.
But seriously, I will avoid eating at Geylang Serai market (only) for the time being because I believe the cleanliness of the precinct is one of the causes of food poisoning. As of today, the tragedy has claimed 2 lives. The worst food poisoning case I’ve heard so far. Scary!
